Captivate Video FPS

Adobe Captivate can be really useful to publish some video projects but there are some limitations when it comes to video frames per second. Published video by default looks “choppy” due to low FPS. It skips my logic why Adobe didn’t include 30FPS video output by default, but there is a simple fix for that.

Open your preferred text editor and simply type in:

FPS=30

Now save this file as:

MP4Settings.ini

and place it under your Captivate root installation directory.

That’s it! Enjoy your 30FPS video project. Remember that optimal size for Captivate video project is maximum 1280×720 px (720p). All above that will not look as good as 720p.
